After a career in human resources, I wanted a greater challenge—something that would not only stretch my abilities but also make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Without realizing it, my interest in real estate started when I was a child. My parents brought me to Salem from Mexico when I was little, and we always rented. We never owned a home. That was something that stayed with me, even if I didn’t know it yet.
By the time I entered high school, I knew I was a good problem solver and I was driven to achieve a profitable career. Law appealed to me—not just because it sounded impressive, but because it promised stability. I thought, if I became a lawyer, I could solve problems, help people, and earn enough to one day buy a home of my own.

But life had other plans. I got pregnant in my junior year. I graduated early—mostly because I didn’t want to walk the halls with a belly while other kids lived what felt like normal high school lives.
When I had Marcy at 18, I was terrified. I didn’t know how I’d get a degree or land a job, let alone build a career. I was scared I’d never have a career to fall back on. I didn’t want to depend on a man financially, but I had no clue how I’d manage a degree, a baby, and life—all without money.
That’s when my mom and sister stepped in. They helped raise Marcy while I attended community college and earned my associate’s degree in arts. A couple of years later, I married Marcy’s dad, Robert. We’ve been together ever since.
For a while, things felt stable. Once I graduated, I built a career as a human resources manager at a cannery. I handled hiring and firing, managed paperwork, and got comfortable in the rhythm of it all. I was grateful—but I knew deep down that I wanted more. I wanted a bigger challenge.

The turning point came in 2019 when I became a contract coordinator for a farm labor company. I was responsible for talking with farmers, and offering them our services—machinery and labor. It was my first experience with sales, and I loved it. That experience reignited my long-standing interest in real estate. I started to imagine what it would be like to help people with something as important as buying a home.
Then COVID hit, and I found myself pregnant again. Strangely, the timing felt right. I saw it as my moment to make a change. I studied hard while pregnant and passed my real estate exam. I had my second child, Robert, and soon after, while pregnant with my third—Evelyn—I dove into real estate full-time.
And that’s where I found my true calling. Real estate felt like a huge responsibility, and I thrived on that. Helping people find the right home—their home—lit something up in me. I wanted to be the best REALTOR® I could be. I poured myself into learning, growing, and serving my clients well.
Now, Marcy is 16, Robert is 5, and Evelyn is 3. We love traveling as a family. In my downtime, I’m either shopping (fashion is my thing) or enjoying a glass of wine. Beautiful clothes and fine wine—life’s small pleasures.
But real estate is where my passion is. I believe that everyone deserves a place to call home––a space that’s theirs. I want to be the person who helps make that happen, no matter what it takes.
I treat clients the way I want to be treated, always aiming to overdeliver rather than fall short. I don’t shy away from challenges and have the patience to look at as many homes as it takes to find the right one.
What sets me apart is my clarity and thoughtfulness. I believe in having honest conversations about costs so clients fully understand their mortgage rates after taxes, avoiding any surprises. After a home inspection, I bring in trusted specialists for second opinions—whether it's a roofer, plumber, or another expert—so my clients have a full picture of what they're buying. They must understand exactly what they’re buying and the implications of their choices, which is why I’m upfront about those conversations. I also double-check every document to ensure there are no hidden issues.
Over the years, I’ve built a strong network of reliable vendors who help solve any real estate-related problem. I take my job seriously and pride myself on protecting my clients' best interests every step of the way. My mission is to offer guidance, clarity, and peace of mind throughout the entire home-buying process.
Sincerely,
